here is where I'm posting ideas that run through this head of mine. new ideas will be added along with the date they are added to the page. complete thoughts will be summarized with detail descriptions. :-D

also, this is where i'm going to be putting projects, with updates on the status of it.

Ultimate Wireless Rig (5/27/02¯

-Minidisc Player/Recorder = Portable
-FM Transmitter = Wireless transmission to my car's stereo
-Sony FM headphones = Wireless Gateway between my ears and Minidisc Player/Recorder w/ fm transmitter on it.

alright here's the deal. I have an MZ-R500 Minidisc Player/Recorder and I wanna be able to rig it to my car, with running any cable. So I'm gonna make an FM transitter that i can hook into the headphone jack of my md player so that i can listen to it thru 88.3 FM. If i do that, then i can get a $50 pair of headphones that sony makes that have a built in fm tuner and the cable to use them as regular headphones can be taken off and replaced. my headphones are dying anyways, and since thecable is usualy the part that messes up on headphones for me, this would be a great investment. only problem is, I'm gonna need about $70-$80 in order to do this. but it's cool, because when i get this done, i will be able to have my md player going in my backpack (yes, i have to go back to public skool) and not worry about cables. and, anyone else with an fm tuner can listen along with me. and the transmitter will work in any car with an fm tuner and with anything else that has an fm tuner. So I think I'm gonna try and save up money for this project. i gotta get a job....

i plan on making a chain-driven case for my minidisc player. probably gonna have one of those cell phone clips too,for dash mounting.
